WALNUT & KALE PESTO

Are you tired of the same old basil and pinenut pesto? Have you ever had an abundance of kale or ever wondered what the hell can I make with kale. Then look no further than this recipe. Exactly the same method & can be used in the same way as regular pesto.

Ingredients:

  • 100g Kale (Stems Removed)
  • 100g Parmesan
  • 100g Whole Walnuts
  • 3 Garlic Cloves (Peeled)
  • 150ml Olive Oil
  • Juice 1 Lemon

Method:

  1. Put the all the ingredients into a food processor and whizz to a paste. If needed add salt and pepper to taste. 
  2. To store, put in a container or jar, cover the surface with a little more olive oil and keep in the fridge, consume within one week.
